Meet Laura

I have a Masters in English Education from Manhattanville College (4.0), a J.D. with honors from The University of Texas Law School, and a B.A with highest honors (Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of Arizona. I have taught English Language Arts in the classroom and designed and taught a course on college essay writing for the Center for Continuing Education in Larchmont, New York. I also bring to my teaching my expertise as a published writer. As an independent Brontë scholar, I wrote The Poetic World of Emily Brontë, published by Sussex Academic Press. I have also written articles on Emily Brontë that have been published in Brontë Studies and Victorians: Journal of Culture and Literature.
